Bethany
From New Hampshire, she’s a five foot eleven tower of talent, being a singer, actress
and for obvious reasons, a model. Already she’s appeared in her first film
and numerous modeling assignments. Her musical style is pop/R&B, having recorded 17 songs already to be included in her
first CD release this year, since relocation to Los Angeles in July 2000. Having met Manager, Ron Eckstine via the internet, Bethany hosts her own cable tv
show entitled “Bethany ½ Hour” airing for it’s second season, throughout Southern California, three times
weekly, Her tv show created and produced by Eckstine is a music variety format. Bethany considers an acting career, though singing and performing live remains her first love. “That will never change,”
says Bethany. She performs at local nightclubs for exposure to the industry, as an
opening act. Bethany, in April 2001 was the feature artist of a MTV pilot, detailing her life
and career as she pursues it on a daily basis. She opened Monday, August 6th, 2001, at PCH Club in Long Beach, singing, every Monday night, extended until March 2003. Bethany
has performed at many popular venues around the U.S. including Miami, Las Vegas, Chicago, New York, and Atlantic City, while participating in major industry conferences and events. She has regular bookings in Los Angeles at BB King Night
Club in Universal City Walk, Hollywood Park Casino, The Century Club, The Rhumba Room also at City Walk and the Highlands at the Kodak Theatre Complex.
“I’m lucky,” says Bethany, “I have great
people around me to advise and guide my career, and the most supportive family I could ever wish for”. “I’m not a songwriter yet, I’m happy interpreting the songs created for me by great writers
associated with my Manager.” “There are talented songwriters and
record producers here, I hope to get a chance to work with all of them.” “I’ve
been singing all my life, since my Mom heard me at six years old, in the back seat of her car and said, Hey! You’ve
got some talent.” “The next thing I knew I was in competitions and
actually winning them, including pageants which was the only place you could sing in front of an audience at such a young
age. I couldn’t get in nightclubs then.” “I played basketball
during the school year, then did musicals for summer vacation.” “Being a singer is much like being an athlete,
you have to be in shape, have stamina, and live the right lifestyle. I know when
my opportunity comes along, I better be ready. And I intend to be. I’m living my dreams already.” “I’m
single,…romance is great but I’m focused on my career these days, not a student any more, I can always go back
to school later in life and become a Doctor if I want,…I’m independent, and I’m ready to sing.”
