Born in the entertainment business, Ron Eckstine is one of the sons of legendary singer, the late Billy Eckstine, a superstar of the late 40's and 50's.  Ron started out as an actor landing roles in many films and television series, wrote and produced an album as an artist, but got into the personal management business at the first opportunity with Motown, and he was responsible for the Grammy award-winning group "Taste of Honey", as well as the "Friends of Distinction".  He worked on the "Off The Wall" album with Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones as a consultant with his brother Ed, former president of Mercury Records.  Ron's resume reads like a "Who's Who" in the entertainment industry of those he's worked with at various stages of their career.  His multi-media representation and management company is considered outstanding in the field.

Ron produced concerts for Prince in L.A. and has toured the world with some of the biggest acts in entertainment.  As president of Ron Eckstine Management, he represented recording artist/actress "Kleo", who in 1997 had the #5 and #9 songs on the national charts, female vocal trio "Volume", and more of the most promising acts in the industry.  Eckstine's clients have had six top ten hits since 1996.  His theatrical, commercial and modeling clients appear in films and television constantly.  He's been named president of Regency Records and is producer of two syndicated television shows featuring new talent.  Now moving into film production, he has three films on tap for production including "Sexy 2 Cool" starring "Volume", featuring Ysobelle, whose music is featured on the soundtrack. Among his projects are pop singer actress Bethany, who’s career took a great turn upward since signing with Ron, completed her first CD, appearing in films and hosting her own cable TV show, in addition to touring the US performing and promoting her CD. In addition recently signed new artist Jennifer Day who stars in her own Studio and Live Call In cable TV shows, in August 2005 starred in a suspense thriller film "Fear Ever After" shot in Los Angeles and Palm Springs, was signed to a record label and is recording her debut CD, and Summer 2005  touring the U.S. as a concert pop singer/performer starring in her "PopHop" live concert internet webcasts. All these artists continue to perform live concerts in the Los Angeles area.

His advice as a manager: Ambition and a will to succeed are the most important traits for a new actor, model or singer.  Plus, stars of the future need to be multi-talented.  Be prepared for that because the future is now. In the beginning, if you’re a student, wife, mother or otherwise attached, while worthwhile and rewarding lifestyles, your entertainment prospects, are basically non-existent. It takes total commitment and dedication to succeed in today’s industry. No baggage is the cliché and it’s true.
